Making a Purchase Currently, we only accept orders placed online. Simply browse our product range and click on any items you wish to buy. Put them into the shopping cart and once your selection is complete 'proceed to the checkout'. You will then be asked for a few details, which we require in order to fulfil your order. We accept all major UK credit and debit cards and your payment is processed securely by WorldPay. If you wish to cancel your order within 7 days, please contact us to arrange return of any goods shipped and we will refund your payment. Shipping and Handling When you add an item to your shopping cart, the corresponding shipping and handling charges will also be shown. The shipping price varies depending upon which item(s) you order. The minimum shipping charge is £2 for small items. Shipping is subject to VAT at the standard rate. When in stock all products are despatched next working day (except during Christmas and New Year closure). If your item is not in stock we will back order the item for you. You will be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would prefer not to wait. Out of stock items will be despatched as soon as they become available. Tax The Broadband Zone has been VAT registered since 1st May 2003. All purchases made on or after this date can be accompanied with a VAT invoice/receipt. All prices on our website are shown exclusive of VAT (unless otherwise stated). All products and shipping are subject to VAT at the standard rate (currently 17.5%). Our VAT registration number is: 812 6418 46. Ordering the correct product Please ensure that you are ordering the correct product for your requirements and that your ADSL line is installed before ordering any equipment. If you require help or advice on selecting the correct product or you are unsure about anything then please contact us at sales@broadbandzone.co.uk Guarantee All of our products come with a 30-day no quibble guarantee. To return an item please contact our returns department at returns@broadbandzone.co.uk for an RMA number. Please be aware returns will only be accepted when accompanied by an RMA number. The Broadband Zone must receive returns within 10 working days of the issuing RMA. The customer is responsible for returning any unwanted products and for paying any associated carriage charges. To avoid any delays the customer must use a parcel service, which provides a tracking number. All items must be in mint condition, as new, in the original packaging and with all manuals, documentation and accessories. The RMA number must be clearly presented with the package. All non-defective items are subject to a restocking fee of £20 or 10% of the order value, whichever is greater. Please allow 15 days for refunds to be processed and paid. Warranty All our products come with a 12-month manufacturer's warranty. Any faulty equipment will be accepted within the manufacturer's warranty period. If during that period The Broadband Zone is notified of a fault in the Equipment which is due to faulty design, manufacture or materials then The Broadband Zone will replace or (at its option) repair the faulty part free of charge, provided that: - The equipment has been properly kept used and maintained in strict accordance with the manufacturers or The Broadband Zone's instructions and has not been modified.
- The defect is not due to accidental or wilful damage (including lightening and electrical damage) interference with or maintenance of the equipment by persons other than The Broadband Zone.
The warranty does not cover fair wear and tear. This warranty is in addition to and does not affect your statutory rights. To return an item under the manufacturers warranty please contact our returns department at returns@broadbandzone.co.uk for an RMA number. Returns will only be accepted when accompanied by an RMA number. The Broadband Zone must receive returns within 10 working days of the issuing RMA. The customer is responsible for returning the products and for paying any associated carriage charges. To avoid any delays the customer must use a parcel service, which provides a tracking number. The RMA number must be clearly presented with the package. We will attempt to replace the item within as short a time as possible with a working device. All non-defective items are subject to an administration charge of £20 or 10% of the sale value, whichever is greater. Both our guarantee and the manufacturer's warranty are offered in addition to your statutory rights as a consumer. Typographical Errors In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price or with incorrect information due to typographical error or error in pricing or product information from our suppliers, taxes or duty changes. The Broadband Zone shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for product listed at the incorrect price, whether or not your order has been confirmed. In the case that your credit card has already been charged and we subsequently cancel your order then we shall immediately issue a credit to your credit card account to the value of the amount incorrectly charged. Links to other web-sites We may contain links on our web-site to other web-sites. The Broadband Zone is not responsible for the content and privacy policies of those sites. Handling Complaints All complaints should be sent by email to info@broadbandzone.co.uk Complaints will be acknowledged within 1 working day of receipt. We will endeavour to resolve all complaints within a two-week period and will keep you informed throughout the process. Privacy Policy / Statement We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998). We collect information about you for 2 reasons: firstly, to process your order and second, to provide you with the best possible service. We will not e-mail you in the future unless you have given us your consent. We will give you the chance to refuse any marketing email from us or from another trader in the future. We will never collect sensitive information about you without your explicit consent. The information we hold will be accurate and up to date. You can check the information that we hold about you by emailing us. If you find any inaccuracies we will delete or correct it promptly. Limitation of Liability The Broadband Zone's liability in respect of any defect in the Products shall be limited to the Price of the Products in question.
